Project Description

About the Work

Choreographer Loni Landon describes this piece as being about tension, connection/disconnection and how we relate to one another. The initial inspiration came from a recurring image Landon had after several chaotic dreams following Hurricane Sandy. Her hope for this piece is to have it feel like “…a continuous stream of consciousness – a dream – a movie. I’m working with memory. How it can fade while certain moments remain clear.”

Loni thanks the dancers for all of their participation and collaboration in the process.

Commissioning made possible with support from the National Endowment for the Arts, and The Toby Devan Lewis Philanthropic Fund.
