This week we would like to introduce you to our second celebrity dancer for IT TAKES TWO! 2020! Connie Hill-Johnson is the owner of Visiting Angels in Cleveland. The company is a homecare provider that sends caregivers into homes to assist seniors to live independently. Her background in the healthcare industry made her uniquely qualified to operate a home healthcare franchise.
Connie is also on the Board of Directors of The Cleveland Foundation, the oldest community foundation in the country. Some other organizations Connie likes to support are the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry, and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
When she isn’t supporting and giving back to these organizations, you can find her at the movies, traveling, and enjoying food at great restaurants. When asked for her favorite restaurant, she said, “If I’m keeping it simple, I really like Yours Truly. My favorite was Flemings Steakhouse until they recently closed.”
Following in the footsteps of fellow Benjamin Rose Institute of Aging board member Emily Drake, class of 2019, she decided to dance and help support Groundworks. Also, in most previous years, the Cleveland Foundation has had a representative dance in It Takes Two in past years and Connie wants to represent the Foundation well.
Connie does not have a dance background but loves to dance. She has always liked watching Dancing with the Stars, and just recently took a line dancing class at her church. In talking about this class, she told us, “I probably learned 10 different line dances. Not sure if I remember them all, though.” This was such a fun adventure for her, and she is excited to continue dancing.
She says fans should expect “a smile on my face and hopefully a great dance routine.” Connie and her partner, Michael, are sure to present a fantastic performance at It Takes Two! 2020 on April 25!
