CLEVELAND (October 14, 2013) – GroundWorks DanceTheater has elected Denise San Antonio Zeman as new board president effective Tuesday, October 8, 2013.  She succeeds Jack Katzenmeyer, who held the position since 2003 and has been a dedicated board member since 2002.

 

Other new officers include:  Cynthia Dunn, Vice President, President & CEO of Judson Services, Inc., and Mary Lou Stricklin, Secretary, retired President & CEO of Visiting Nurse Association Healthcare Partners of Ohio.  Jack Katzenmeyer, a retired partner at Ernst and Young LLP, will continue to serve on GroundWorks board in the vital role as Treasurer.

 

With a professional career that has spanned healthcare, human services and community relations, Zeman joined Saint Luke’s Foundation as President and CEO in January 2000.  Prior to joining the Foundation, she was a senior executive for the Meridia Health System (now part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System) where she was responsible for overseeing the successful turnaround of one of its regional hospitals.

 

Zeman holds an undergraduate degree from Ursuline College, a master’s degree from John Carroll University, and a professional chef’s certificate from the Loretta Paganini School of Cooking.
