Biography
Morgan Ashley (they/he/she) is a dancer and choreographer from Northeast Ohio; Morgan has been dancing all their life, but their passion is in choreography. In Fall 2020 they earned their Bachelor of Fine Art in Dance from Kent State University, and continued to create, perform, and teach post-grad. In 2021, they met Mia Klinger and dove into teaching creative movement in Akron Public Schools through Ballet Excel Ohio’s outreach program. Morgan believes that having something that brings one joy is important for anyone, and dance has provided them with that. Now, as the next chapter of their story begins with GroundWorks DanceTheater, Morgan considers it an incredible honor to pass on that joy through dance to their students.
